Board-Up Before & After

What is shown here is the perfect example of why board-ups can be a necessary part of the fire cleanup and restoration process. When this house was hit with some severe fire damage, some windows were broken during the fire. This had lead to the damage to the edge of the roof and to sections of the siding. When something like this happens, it leaves the already damaged inside of the building exposed to the elements. Storm damage and pests can easily cause more damage to the inside. That is why board-ups are a part of our building services. We understand that to prevent any secondary damage, we need to block outside forces from causing anything further from happening. That is what we did here, and it helped to prevent as much interruption of the restoration process as possible.
