What It Looks Like - Carpet Dry Out
The weird thing about carpet drying is that you never know how far removed the carpet will have to be. There are times when the carpet will have to be completely pulled up to get to the floor and padding underneath it. There are also times when the carpet will just need to be dried from the surface. It all depends on how wet it is and what kind of material is underneath it. For the job shown here, the floor underneath had a light layer of padding that the air movers would have had a hard time drying. So rather than remove the whole carpet, the techs decided to pull up a corner of it and place an air mover underneath the carpet. This made it possible for the air mover to dry both the carpet and the pad underneath it with much less stress!
