Carpet Removal During Drying

You’ll see it all the time during a dry-out. The carpet gets soaked, and it’s always a matter of whether it will need to be removed or not for the floor to be as thoroughly dried as possible.

In this situation, the best way to dry the carpeted landing area of this set of stairs was to remove all of the carpeting and dry as deeply as possible. In this situation it was probably for the best because getting the floor dried on this deep of a level will help to lessen the likelihood that mold will grow in the flooring; and nobody wants mold!
