Basement Flood
Flood: (noun) “an overflowing of a large amount of water beyond its normal confines, especially over what is normally dry land.”
This definition is definitely appropriate for the image shown above. This is of course only one part of the basement shown here. The entire lower level was filled with water. So the clients did what they thought was best and they reached out to our teams here at SERVPRO®. We went out to their home and started by extracting as much of the water as we possibly could. For any dampness left over, we set up our air movers everywhere that we needed to, and we got to drying. We knew that time was of the essence in a situation like this to avoid secondary damage, so we got right to do what we do best; Making water damage feel, “Like it never even happened.”
